Join Claudine Hakim for an investigation of the International School of London’s award-winning Crossroads Transitions Programme.

Mobility amongst students, families and staff is part of being in an international school, but one of the critical factors in settling into a new community is the support received.  Moving to a new school and culture influences a child’s well-being and learning capacity. Our schools have a part to play in supporting the challenges whilst highlighting the positive aspects of being a ‘global nomad’.  Children who are emotionally secure will adapt to school life faster but they can only feel balanced and secure if the key people in their lives also feel settled.
Having a successful Transitions programme will enable your community to have a ‘soft landing’, feel they belong and prepare them for the next move.
